The main thing is not forget to take the sketchbook and remember it at any opportunity. First, 4 hours of waiting for the plane and two full turns in the sketchbook are ready!
Then sketches from a small village where we lived for almost 3 weeks. Many spreads began from nature while walking with a child, and ended at night at home based on photo references, when everyone was asleep.
Playgrounds in Holland amazed me to the core. Mostly wooden, unusual and very interesting. This one, in addition to slides, swings and carousels, was a real raft. We rode it for a long time
We went on bicycles for new experiences
We tried another local form of transport - a kayak. I was afraid to draw from a kayak, and there was no time. But then, with fresh memories at home, I drew myself off.
Mandatory in Holland to visit are the village of mills - Zaance Schans and the old port - Hoorn. And for drawing there are simply the most picturesque places.
